You pack a suitcase, make a ticket to any destination, get on a plane and find yourself on the other side of the world. Today, travelling is within everyone’s reach and very easy, but unfortunately for many it is not.
This post is dedicated to all of you, to all those who would like to travel but cannot, sometimes because they ‘simply’ find themselves in a country where bureaucracy rules, unable to obtain a visa to leave their own country. Sometimes we think, we plan a trip but the unexpected is around the corner: a loved one who needs our assistance, then priorities become other. Those who work in restaurants then have to wait until the end of the season. Those who have to take care of themselves. People who simply do not have the money to travel. Then you realise when you are lucky, you realise that you were born in the right part of the “world”… In that part of the world where our passport allows you to go anywhere or you are simply lucky enough not to have many problems. Travelling is the dream of many, unfortunately for many it will remain a dream, for others luckier it becomes reality. By travelling you understand the value of life, you learn the value of gratitude and you learn to be grateful. Travelling will involve confronting other realities that are very different from our own, you will learn to immerse yourself in different cultures. You will meet many people who are completely different from you and you will have to get used to their customs, because they remember you are at home… You will discover the hidden faces of the cities, those faces that you will never find in the guidebooks, and it is there that you will make the difference; it is there that you will have to get involved, you will have to go into the most hidden part of the city and make it your own, immersing yourself completely in the culture of others. Even without going far from our country, there are many people who would like to travel but cannot. Well this article is dedicated to all those people who would like to travel but are stuck for various reasons.

YOU WILL RETURN TO TRAVELLING
Dear friend, who will read these few lines, I assure you that you will return to travelling. Travelling does not have to be moving from point A to point B. Remember friends, travelling is discovery, it is getting out of the CONFORT ZONE, it means GROWTH, and you can do all this simply by staying where you are. Get to know new people participate in events even very close to where you live. Attend concerts of even unknown bands. It’s not the same thing, it’s true, but you can do it until you start travelling again, and I assure you that you will. In the meantime, travel with your mind. Don’t beat yourself up. In the meantime, don’t stop living.
